How'd Stafford beat Smith? Stafford had less yards, lower completion percentage, the same amount of touchdowns, and an interception, something Smith had none of. That makes no sense.

This is nonsense…Alex Smith had more yards, highest QB rating, and nobody had more TDs…Nonsense!

NO matter how well Alex Smith performs the man will always attract negative views from critics and haters. Carter b made the comment (I'm not saying Carter b is a Smith hater) that a lot of Smith's completions was to wide open receivers while Stafford was throwing into much tighter windows and Smith's receivers did most of the work after the catch. Smith's touchdown to Hill was the only completion to a wide open receiver I can recall and the ball traveled more yards in the air than after the catch. The second touchdown was just a perfect throw, the receiver had a step or two on his man but he was far from wide open and wouldn't of scored the TD if the ball wasn't placed in his hands without breaking stride. Smith out preformed Stafford in every category possible except touchdowns, both threw 4 touchdowns but Smith didn't throw any interceptions, Stafford threw 1 and the two quarterbacks completion percentage wasn't wasn't even in the same atmosphere but you can't hold that against Stafford, it's near impossible to better a quarterback who threw the ball 35 times and completed 80% of those passes. And last but not least, while both quarterbacks did face tough competition Alex Smith and the Chiefs went into hostile Foxboro and put up 41 points while completing 28 of 35 for 368 yards, 4 touchdowns and no ints against the defending Super Bowl champions. No quarterback in the NFL came close to matching Alex Smith's week 1 performance but his critics will still sound off.

Kareem Hunt bounced back big time after that first carry fumble. He looked shaken. But he took it the other way for a huge night. He didn't look like a rookie!

Where's Sam Bradford? And Stafford should definitely not be ahead of Alex Smith
